Winter Explorations

Hi guys, what have you been up to this very long winter? It’s pretty cold where I live, so I’ve mostly been staying inside. I go outside when I’m walking to class or work, but that’s about it. I do try to get out and experience the nature every once in a while, though! These pictures are from a super cold day. It felt like my fingers were going to fall off, but it was all worth it because I think the pictures turned out really well.

My outfit was very simple. It’s probably not the most beautiful outfit in the world, but it worked for the occasion. My friend and I explored a park near my old high school, so I dressed for exploring and not for fashion. I just threw on some snow boots and a sweatshirt, and I was good to go!

This was the first time wearing the snow boots I got for Christmas, and I have to say I loved them! They were warm and pretty at the same time. I was living the dream! I love the way the brown, navy blue, and gold look together. These are my first pretty pair of snow boots, so I’m very excited about them.

I wore a simple grey sweatshirt under my coat. I wear this sweatshirt all the time because it’s easy and matches with almost everything. I don’t know how well it matched with the brown on my boots haha, but it goes with most of my things.

Over my sweatshirt, I put on my trusty jacket. It’s a weird brownish gray color, so it matches with a variety of colors. I usually switch between this jacket and my olive green parka. It’s not the warmest coat I’ve ever worn, but it’s cute and comfortable.

For my pants, I just put on some blue jeans. I wear jeans almost every day of my life, and these are one of my favorites. They’re nice and tight all the way to the ankle. I don’t know about you, but finding pants that don’t go loose at my ankle is a real struggle. That’s why I love these so much. They’re also high waisted, so they’re great with crop tops.

For my makeup, I kept it pretty natural except for the berry lip. I wore some brown eye shadow on my lids and some brown pencil liner on my upper lash line. Then I just put on some mascara. I also filled in my eyebrows a bit. On my face, I just have on some BB cream and concealer. Last, I put on this beautiful berry lipstick. It looks a little more red in the pictures, but it’s more berry in person. My friend, Maddie, wore it, too!

Maddie came with me again and took my pictures. Even though she was behind the camera, her makeup and outfit were on point! She takes some awesome pictures. If you’re interested in seeing any of her pictures, click here. You won’t regret it!

      1. I just finished reading it. Sorry for taking so long, but I wanted to give it my undivided attention. I really liked it. I can’t think of any changes you should make.
