South Africa Trip: Trompsburg then Cape Town

Hey guys! I’m coming at you with another post about my South Africa trip. My trip was actually quite a while ago, but it’s been hard to keep up with editing my videos because of a combination of school and laziness. I finished another video, though!

Click here to watch it. I’d definitely appreciate it. It’s the third video about my trip I’ve made. I hope you like it!

Below I have a few screenshots from my video.

My brother and I were learning how to ride dirt bikes. In the picture above you can see him riding a bike in the distance.

Above are some pictures of a lake my family and I went to take some pictures at. We even met a cute dog who seemed very happy to see us. The lake was really beautiful and there was even a little bridge leading out to the the lake. In the summer you could even jump off and go for a swim.

The picture above and the four pictures below were taken when we were driving around the farm. My brother and I would stand on the back of the truck and take pictures of the nature. We also took pictures of the sheep and cows we came across.

After our time on the farm, we flew to Cape Town to visit my aunt. Below is a picture outside the window of our flight. It was a pretty quick flight, so that was really nice.

The two pictures below are pictures from our drive to my aunt’s house after we landed in Cape Town. The sun lit up the mountains and clouds beautifully. You can even see a rainbow in the picture directly below. It was an incredibly beautiful sight.

The picture below is the view from my aunt’s house. The clouds looked gorgeous. The picture doesn’t even do it justice. I wish I could just show you guys.

      1. You’re welcome. I’ll look out for it, but in the meantime, I’ll look around your blog when I get some downtime today. 🙂

    1. If you ever get the chance to go there, you totally should! And there was a drought when I went there. It didn’t seem too bad in some of the places I went (Pretoria and Trompsburg), but it was pretty bad in Cape Town. There were rules on how much water each family should use. I hope it gets better soon!
