Hey guys! Did you do anything fun for Fourth of July? I hung out with some friends at one of their family barbecues. After that we met up with some people for a bonfire. It was a pretty casual day, but it was still a great excuse to dress up. I wore a cute little festive outfit that I’m going to tell you guys about now!
I didn’t take many solo pictures, so I’m sorry I don’t have more to share. I feel like you can see the outfit just fine in these, though. Also, my friends’ outfits are pretty cute, too!
When I was picking out my outfit, I realized I didn’t really have anything red to wear. I decided blue would have to do.
It was a really hot day, so I thought a crop top would be the best way to keep cool. I chose this tight blue crop top. It’s comfortable and works with so many outfits. I also let the lace from my bra peek out a little bit.
I recently went thrift shopping, so I had a lot of shorts to choose from. I ended up going with these polka dotted shorts with buttons up the sides. They’re tight fitting and really show off my figure. This was the first time I wore them and I definitely enjoyed them. What do you think? Aren’t they cute?
To incorporate a little more white into my outfit, I put on these white Tommy Hilfiger sneakers I thrifted. Before I started wearing mostly sandals this summer, I wore these sneakers almost daily. I’ve said this before, but once I find a pair of shoes I like, I wear them basically every day.
I got to have some fun with my makeup. I’ve been trying out colored eyeliners recently, so I thought the Fourth of July would be the perfect opportunity to wear a blue cat eye. I also wore a red lip. That ended up being the only red in my outfit.
The finishing touch was wearing a white bandana like a bow in my hair.
Thanks for reading you guys! I hope you enjoyed this outfit post!
