Bright Blue Eyes

Hello friends! I’ve been trying out some new makeup looks lately, and I want to share one with you guys. I’ve always stuck to very neutral colors for my eyes, so exploring color has been really fun for me.

Blue is probably the color I’m normally least likely to wear on my eyes, so I though I try it out. I decided to go bold with very bright blue all over the lid.

The first thing I did was put an even wash of Mediterranean 30 from the Elizabeth Arden color eye shadow palette all over my entire eyelid.

The dark blue color with the star on it is what I used. I’ll be putting stars on the eye shadows I used so you guys know what I used.

After that, I used this turquoise color from the e.l.f. Little Black Beauty Book 48 Festive Everyday eyeshadow palette. I couldn’t find a shade name for it, but you get the idea from the picture. Any turquoise color would work.

I focused the turquoise color on the middle of my lid. I used my finger to pat in as much pigment as possible.

After that, I patted this silver blue called Sterling 28 onto the very center of my eyelid for some sparkle.

For a little more dimension, I took this Voltage Blue 873A Wet ‘n Wild MegaLiner liquid eyeliner and applied a little to the inner corner of my eye. Then I quickly blended it out before it would dry. If you try this, I recommend doing one eye at a time because eyeliner dries pretty quickly.

Next, I took the same blue I used before and brought it down onto my lower lash line.

To darken things up a bit, I smudged this Elizabeth Arden eye pencil in the color Java into my upper and lower lash line.

Last, I finished off the look with some black mascara. The one I used was the Lashcraft Big Volume mascara in the color Noir 01.
