Hello everyone. How’s it going? My school semester just flew by, so I’m using winter break to do a little blogging.
Today’s post is another makeup post. I’ve been experimenting with makeup a little more, and I made a look I ended up really liking. What do you think?
I also made a little “get ready with me” video where I show my makeup. Click here if you would like to see it. I think seeing what I did to achieve this look in action makes it a little easier to follow along.
I went with blues on my last makeup post, so I switched to the opposite of the color spectrum this time with orange.
I love oranges, pinks, reds, and really any warm color on the eyes. They’re super wearable and they look great on everyone in my opinion.
The first thing I did was fill in my eyebrows. That’s always my favorite step. Eyebrows are just so fun to me. I haven’t gotten them to look exactly how I want yet, but I’m getting there!
Next, I took an orange liquid eye shadow and applied it all over the entire lid. I blended it out and then, to make the color more intense, I applied a second layer and blended that out, too.
Then, I took an orangey copper sparkly shadow and applied it to my lower lash line and on the center of the lid.
After that, I took a cream colored eyeshadow and used it to highlight my brow bone and inner corners.
After finishing the eyeshadow, I took a brown pencil liner and lined my lower waterline.
Next, I finished up the eyes with some black mascara. I think mascara really polishes any eye look. I also feel like it covers up any of my mistakes .
And that’s all I did for the eyes. I think it turned out pretty nice. Thoughts?
To cover up my dark circles and blemishes, I put some concealer under my eyes and on my other problem areas. Then, I blended it out with a makeup sponge.
To brighten my skin up, I applied a liquid highlighter to my cheekbones, nose bridge, and the tip of my nose. Then, I just blended it out. The shine makes the skin look super plump and hydrated.
The product I used is technically an eyeshadow, but I also think it works great as a highlighter.
The last thing I did was put on some bright red lipstick. Red lipstick makes me feel like I can do anything. It’s probably my favorite lip color. Something about it just feels so classic.
That’s it for the makeup look. It brings some nice color and warmth to the face. Warm colors are definitely my favorite colors for eyeshadow. They’re just so fun to play with!
Here’s what it looks like in the sun. I’ve been experimenting with color a lot more in my eyeshadow looks, and it’s been really fun. I highly recommend you guys give it a try. I’m not the best at makeup, so practicing and trying out new looks has been so fun. I hope this post gave you guys a little makeup inspiration.
Thanks for reading! And happy New Year!!

Love this look! I always struggle to figure out what to wear with red lips, but I want to try and recreate this look.
